So my daughter, Megan, finally decided that she is going to be able to travel and watch the varsity boys' basketball state play-off games. She asks me to make her a new fan shirt. Sure! No problem! Then she tells me she needs it by Wednesday morning. Only two and a half days to get it done? *gulp*
But what are moms for, right? :)
Here's my freezer paper stencil tutorial:
First, I decided on my design. Then I printed it on freezer paper and cut it out. A basketball, of course!
Next, I ironed it down.
Don't forget the little pieces!
Then, I put some cardboard inside to keep the paint from bleeding through.
Now it's time to paint!
I put on three coats of paint because it's a dark shirt. After it's all dry, it's time to pull the paper off. This is the best part!
Yay!

My accomplishment? New fan shirt all done, with half a day to spare!
