My littlest guy loves anything soft. Actually, that's a bit of an understatement. He's pretty much obsessed with soft things! I know, completely normal for babies, but new to this house! He likes to rub anything soft on his face, especially when he's sleepy! So when I saw this blanket by This Mama Makes Stuff, I thought I should make one! But once Josiah started snuggling used Bounce sheets and a hairball he found under the couch, I knew I had to make one RIGHT AWAY! :)
I made it from three men's flannel shirts I picked up at the thrift store. I didn't leave my seams exposed. Partly because I didn't cut the smallest strips on the bias, and partly because I'm slightly OCD. (OK, I'm sure my sister just snorted and chuckled while reading that. All right...., I'm more than slightly OCD. It's all good!) Ha!
Anyway, his sisters liked it!
Now for the real test:
He tries it out,
and decides it's a good blankie!
This was the final seal of approval! Snuggling on the soft side! He loves it! (and I prefer it to Bounce sheets and hairballs!) :)
I love the finished product! So beautiful and glad to hear he loves it. I am pretty much the opposite of OCD so I am glad you found a way to make the blanket your own!
